ABOUT BACKYARD SESSIONS

Blue Dream Studios was founded in 2016 by producer, Sam Brawner and artist, Raquel Rodriguez. Since opening, Blue Dream has become a hub where the music community of Los Angeles has really connected with each other. The Backyard Sessions started when Sam and Raquel wanted to showcase some of the talent they’ve gotten to work with in order to connect many of the music industry professionals with the musicians and artists themselves. It has hosted some of Los Angeles’ dopest talents and the connections have turned into many fruitful relationships and collaborations. One of the many things that makes these nights so special is that there is a true effort to treat every guest like family and provide them with a full meal and open bar for them to partake in responsibly. After the first few parties, the community kept asking for more and it is now an event that people seek an invite to. During the pandemic, the safest way to continue this series was to move to the front yard to let everyone enjoy more space and was notably covered by KCRW. This series is continuing again in the backyard for a more intimate setting and will continue to provide a space for artists to share their music with the Blue Dream Community.
